Fee Questions
How much does a Party Wall Notice cost?
Our fixed fee is £150 + VAT for project review and preparation of required notices for up to four adjoining owners.
Does consent avoid an Award?
Often, yes. If an adjoining owner consents in writing, a formal Award may not be required. A Schedule of Condition can still be sensible.
Who pays the neighbour’s surveyor?
The Building Owner normally pays reasonable statutory fees where the work benefits their project.
Can one surveyor act for both owners?
Yes. Both owners may jointly appoint one Agreed Surveyor, who must act impartially.
